Musical entertainment at the Farmer’s Market will be provided by Northborough’s own Carly Lara. Carly Lara, local Folk/Pop singer-songwriter and cover artist, has been performing for several years, at cafes such as Cafe 641 in Hudson, Club Passim, Cafe 939 in Boston, La Mietta La Mai Thai Bistro, in addition to playing at other upbeat community driven venues. Aiming to emulate artists such as Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Sarah Jarosz, and Gracie Abrams, Carly brings a unique energy in her renditions of various pop and folk classics, and is able to express emotions lyrically within her own songs as well as when performing pieces by her favorite artists. Join Carly Lara and musician friends Zoe Clark, Pia Ella, , drummer Max Close and Armani Rodin for covers and original music live at the Applefest Farmer’s Market! This program is supported in part by a grant from the Northboro Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
